A new and innovative way to vacation, Italians stressed by the frenetic pace of "modernity" seek solace and relaxation on the traditional family farms in rural Tuscany. Licensed by the Government of Italy, these farms are fully functioning businesses, cultivating crops and raising domesticated animals. A portion of the farmhouse, designed for guests, is modernized, providing the vacationer with state of the art accommodations. The guests have meals with the farm family, using only natural products grown on the farm, or native to Tuscany. The guests have the option of observing, or even participating in the daily activities of the farm, and lodging with the family in modernized apartments. Some of our guests have developed close ties with their host families, such that they return year after year, a real testimony to the warmth which grows between people who are close to the land.
