uShop System Requirements
STORE OWNER
The system requirements for the store owner are:
- Your server must be able to run Perl CGI scripts. (Perl is common
to most servers - you can check with your internet service provider to
be sure).
- Your server is either a UNIX server or a Window NT server.
As another option, if your server does not meet the above requirements,
we do offer a CGI hosting service on our secure server. That is,
you can setup all of your store pages on your regular server, and then
just link to a special CGI script on our Secure Server when the customer
is ready to check out. Please contact us for more information.
CUSTOMERS
The only requirement for your customers is that they have a Java enabled
browser. We have successfully tested uShop on the most common browsers
running on the most common operating systems: Netscape 3.x,
Netscape 4.x, Internet Explorer 3.x, and
Internet Explorer 4.x running on Windows, Windows NT,
Mac, and UNIX operating systems.
