ushop_cgiscript.pl
ushop_cgiscript.pl is a Perl 5.0 script that must be configured and
put in the cgi directory on your server if you are going to use any of the
CGI order applets. Note: We would have preferred not to use any CGI scripts,
however, since the Java language itself does not allow applets to write
to files, we had to make this CGI script to write the order files onto
the secure server. See uShop Security.
In order to setup ushop_cgiscript.pl, you must edit the script and
answer the thirteen (hopefully) simple questions at the top of the script.
These questions mostly consist of specifying some server specific directory
paths and some uShop specific options - such as where you want
to email the order notifications to. You may need to consult your internet
provider to determine some of the paths.
